On Tuesday, October 7, 2008 Carlyle on the Green graciously hosted the 4th Annual Joe Namath – March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Classic. The beautiful Carlyle on the Green came to life with all the glitz and glamour only sports and television celebrities can bring to this type of an event. The distinguished Master of Ceremonies was the legendary Joe Namath, who is as nice as he is iconic. Since the March of Dimes is near and dear to David, DMS Video Productions and Rocco, Camelot Photography Studios they were invited to cover the event. You can experience the event again if you were there and experience it for the first time if you were not. On behalf of Carlyle on the Green we would like to thank all of you who kindly donated your time, hard work, memorbilia, and most importantly your hearts to a very worthy cause. The March of Dimes was founded in 1938 as the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis to defeat the epidemic disease polio. Today the March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for preganancy and baby health. This wonderful organization is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
