We just completed four more Carlyle on the Green wedding shoots in the span of two weeks. What does that mean to you, the viewer (or should I say reader?). Well, we have a lot of new weddings to profile so we hope you stop by to visit again soon. With that said, let’s spend a few minutes talking about Danielle & Joe and their 280 guests. Most of our couples are very easy to work with. DMS Video Productions and Camelot Photography Studios (that’s us) have had a synergistic working relationship and been recommended by Carlyle on the Green for many years. However, sometimes we are fortunate enough to meet a B&G that have the perfect combination of outgoing personalities and a willingness to allow us to create a video production and photography album that is artistically compelling. Danielle & Joe were an absolute joy to work with (I think we have our new demo dvd!).
The day began with Danielle and her bridesmaids getting ready at her apartment in Manhattan. Then it was over to Our Lady of Lebanon Cathedral in Brooklyn for a 2:00pm Ceremony. The bridal party consisted of five Bridesmaids, ten Groomsmen and four children. After the Ceremony we headed over to the Brooklyn Promenade for a quick photo and video shoot. With the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop we were able to capture some amazing moments. We arrived back at Carlyle on the Green at 5:30pm and spent almost two hours shooting on the grounds. Cocktail Hour was 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Danielle & Joe wanted to attend the final twenty minutes so we had a little extra time to be creative while shooting all over. The Reception was 8:00pm – 12:00am. Todd Barrie’s Gotham Band rocked the house! Even though the B&G had a large wedding party they decided they would be the only couple introduced. ”To make you feel my Love” by Billy Joel was their first dance song which quickly evolved into a very big Tarantella. The party ended with Carlyle’s amazing Jazz Hour in the Lenox Room from 12:00 – 1:00am. We wish Danielle & Joe all the best in their future.
